My friend asked me to take a few pics of him and his fiance because they wanted to send a pic in to the newspaper. So these were their favorite shots of the afternoon. The pics are in grayscale so that they'd accurately show what the newspaper pictures would look like. ALL criticism is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The pics are technically great. They are sharp. The light is great. I liked mostly number 1 and 2. Number 3 looks a bit like a Photoshop work - don't know why.. :) The grayscale looks very nice.

If you want to emphasize their faces then I would suggest you to take number 2. In number 1 and 2, the subjects are appear to be center in the frame.

Nice sereis here. I like number 2 best..looks natural .. Number 1 seems to be foused more on clothes not on faces.. they look a tad soft compared to the body. Number 3..i dont know if you have ps'd this or not.. thebackground looks weird.. its busy and looks a bit fake, with the shadows on the tree matching up to the rock above girl's head..:s.. sorry dont mean to sound harsh.. i am by far no expert !!but that one just doesnt look right to me.They dool more relaxed in that image however.

Nope, there was very little post processing on any of them. #3's background is real. :)

Thanks for the comments. They picked #2 as their favorite for sending to the newspaper. We all liked the way the bridge led you to the center of the picture, but we weren't sure if the newspaper editor would want a portrait-size photo, and therefore crop off the sides of the pic.

I like them all, #2 is my favorite. Different posing would be great too.
