So, My cousin got married on Saturday. I was pretty excited for it as its always a fun time when my entire family comes together in one place. But, on Thursday of last week, my Mother informed me that they didnt have a photographer. So she asked if I could do it as a gift. I obliged.

I really like that ring shot, is that darkness pp'd in or natural? Third and fourth are good too :)

its natural, i took the pillow over to a table near the window that had a light on it, turned off the light and shot wide open using the window light.

Very nicely done. It's a shame they put you on the spot like that, but you definitely rose to the occasion.

It's beautiful, sounds like they were planning on you all along, that's a big wedding to "forget" a photographer. They got a huge steal out of you. You're photo's are gorgeous.

You did pretty good given the circumstances. One thing I notice is you seem to leave a lot of empty space over peoples heads, when you'd be better off filling the frame a bit more by pointing the camera down a bit - #3 and the last one in particular. Other things i'd work on are white ballance and mixing flash and ambient light to get a more natural mix.

thanks for the advice! i agree about the space above the heads. i've always had a problem with that. i picked the last one to post, because i liked that you could see the silly string flying in the air about to hit them, i took a couple more that i was real close in, but i just enjoyed the flying string.

Do you mind if I play a little?

If you have PS go to image> adjustments> variations, slide the bar all the way to the left and go in the direction that looks best to your eye, you may have to click a lot, LOL! Probably blue and cyan the most... HTH
