Can anyone recomend a good ultra wide zoom lens.
I was looking at the 17-40 f4. Can anybody think of a better lens is that price range?

Great lens, good price. L for less than a grand. I love mine. You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

I'm looking for a comprehensive review, but the preliminary comments I've read have been pertty mixed. I already have the 17-40L and can assure you there's no better lens for the money. I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!
