Out riding my DR650 and came across the Fortescue railway bridge around 70km from home in the Pilbra.

I really like the simplicity of the bridge design. Althought, I think the picture would be better if you cut down all the bushes in the foreground.....kidding....:D

Thanks for sharing.

Can't argue with quality of your shots, exposure etc but re content and composition you could do better.
Dividing your frame in half .. sky and ground is usually a no no.
If you had gotten down on your knees with the camera at ground level those rocks would have displayed some real personality .. big and bold with your cloudless sky only a sliver at the top to add a bit of colourful contrast. The bridge would have moved into a more prominent position towards the top of your frame.
Just a few ideas.
Looks like a very interesting area to be out and about with a camera.

Thanks for the advice, still learning and I see what you mean about dividing the frame in half.
I don't need much of a excuse to go for a bike ride so I go and give it another go.
Thanks
Dave

Agreed...however, for what he has, a simple crop would work, too. :)

The first doesn't do anything for me, Dave, but I'm a sucker for anything railroad related, so I really enjoy the second. Any chance you can time your next visit to capture a train going across the bridge?
