This is my first post and I am looking for C&C, my daughter took this picture of herself for a school project and I thought the picture itself was a nice picture but she has some teenage skin blemishes and I think her eyes are amazing so I hated that she was wearing her glasses, and they are naturally a very blue almost violet but this picture doesn't show quite how amazing they are...

I like the outcome, but I am self taught using PS and would like to hear what folks with more experience would have done diffrently... I have many versions of the edit but this is one of the ones I like the most...

Thank you in advance for taking the time to look and for any helpful C&C :)

You're right, she looks like a very pretty young lady. My critiscism is that I prefer to see images with the whole face showing and not a highlighted box. I really like the PP you've done on the third one. Have you got a copy of that one without the box around her eyes?

Did you clone out the eyeglasses? If so you did a fantastic job doing that!

Great job! The work you've done on taking out the glasses is amazing. I do like the original the best (she's beautiful), but the black and white is good too. I'm just not fond of the framing.

I like the first picture better, but am amazed at your cloning skills. I'd have just re-taken the picture but had her take off her glasses........ :)

I just continued picking at it... taking out a whisp of hair here and an imperfection there...

I could not have her retake the pciture without the glasses so easily because she is in Pennsylvania at college and I am in Washignton State... so it might be asking a little much for her to retake what was actually a spontanious picture for her to take...

Excellent work on the glasses cloning! The skin looks very smooth and i like the black and white with the framed highlighted area best. I actually like the framed area as i dont particularly like the crop of the image through the lips like that. For me the framed area makes it sit better in my mind. Just my personal preference ofcourse.

Nice manipulation, especially trying to correct the area where the glasses had covered.

May I suggest you add a slight amount of noise, maybe 1%. This could make the cloned areas blend in better with the non cloned areas. I would post an example, but you don't have "Image Editing OK" turned on.

Excellent work removing the glasses!

Only bit that gives it away is to our left of her right eye. But I doubt I would have spotted that if I wasn't looking for it.
