I've lost 25 pounds and down to 284.5 pounds. I'm drinking a bunch of beer and hoping to get in shape for my next years Costa Rica surfing trip. I had trouble with getting a wave with extra weight. I hope to be 224 lbs for next years surfing trip. I've give up on diet cokes. I have been off them for two months and I thought that would never happen. If I can continue I believe I can deliver some awesome surf shots. May your prayers be with me.

This shot was from a deck of a beach house. I keep thinking a bigma 50-500 would do the trick. This was the house where I got my first scorpion sting. Whoooo, more beer please. My brother was shooting with the 70-200.

And even if the diet doesn't work....there can't be too many bad things about a beer diet.:D:D:D

I like the small beer bottles. I personally can't stand to drink large quantites.

Exactly. That's why I was so pleased when my wife had a girlie party. There was a lot of left-over 150-200ml bottles of beer. Women usually don't drink a whole bottle because after the first half it gets to be a drudge rather than an enjoyment. It's like wine when they drink about a glass and that's all. There's a set quantity that's enough and beyond which is too much.

I don't really like beer. I'm not all that keen on wine either, but a glass of white or two is fine. I stick to my girly drinks; fruity cocktails, smirnoff ice and bacardi breezers. :)

And I'm a cheap drunk.

how is either drinking diet coke or light beer a way to loose weight? Surely you want to lose weight with a diet that involves cutting down on food...

The only diet that truly works is the MYAM diet.

I really don't know if a beer diet is a way to lose weight. I'm really not sure. But the only way to disprove this is to try this diet for a extended period of time keeping large amounts of beer available at all times with careful inventory tracking so you don't run out.
