These are photos I took during the BIG event. Also I'm trying to get the hang of posting to the forums. :)

Nice shots. For posting... If you have PhotoShop set the image size to 800 pixels on the widest side. The click edit and convert to profile sRGB. Click save for web. Move the slider on the quality until you are under 100k.

Ryan, thanks and thanks for the info. I downloaded the 30 day version to try.

Robo, every year in January all of the kids that turn 20 get together and have a ceremony of becoming an adult. Most wear traditional kimonos, male and female. The young women can spend all weekend getting ready. Afterwards, they drink and smoke and have a good ol' time. Some families have worn the same kimono for generations. It is a colorful and interesting. I have more photos but will try to save to an album to link to.
