THIS BIRDS A REAL POSER.....

As for the title, this bird (Red Winged Blackbird) posed for me for about half an hour! I was maybe about 20 feet from it as well.

Both these shots where taken by Elkwater lake in Elkwater, Alberta, Canada. The area is part of the interprovincial park in the Cypress Hills.

Yes, I did indeed enjoy my trip out to Elkwater, I always do. It's an easy trip for me as it is only a 45min. drive by car to get out there. I go out there often in the spring and summer to go hiking (with my camera of course). I may head out there this winter to see what creatures are lurking in the snow.
