As before, here is my version. I deepened it, upped the saturation, and added a slight vignette.

I really like what you have done with this image. I think it pops the model out more. I personally am not a favourite of vignetting however in my opinion it works on this image.

Cromakey ...shooting against green background and extracting the model and placing on background of choice

Nice... but in the chromakey shot, I can see trace amounts of green in the outline of your subject and particularly around her hair. :(. It probably isn't detectable in print though, right? Another thing is the warm tone you selected for the background is competing with the skintones of the subject. I like cooler backgrounds (greens, blues, and grays) because they tend to receed and that visually makes the subject pop more. Nice work though on your lighting.

The only thing I don't like about the second one is her pupils are so huge. Big pupils are something I try to avoid for two reasons. One, I like to show more of the pretty color of the iris, and two, big pupils are usually only seen on people when they either A. are on drugs, or B. have had their pupils dialated at the eye doctors. I know that's a hard thing to get around when you have a dark studio with no lights on and you use strobes to light the subject... You can fake it in photoshop, or do what I like to do. Operate with room lights ON. Trust me when I say, they do NOT influence the final image in terms of color cast or shadow directionality. Rule of thumb... with your camera set for the settings you'll shoot with... (i.e. ISO 100 F/8 max sync shutter 1/200 or 1/250 depending on your camera), and the room lights ON with your strobes off... take a frame... What you are seeing in the preview screen is the exact room light contributions to your exposure. Is it black? (rhetorical question... I know the answer already). Yes it is going to be black. That means your room lights will not contribute to the scene at all. This will also allow your subject's pupils to normalize. Another thing you could do is to leave your modeling lights on. That will normalize the pupil size as well. :) Other than the pupils looking huge.. the lighting is good, the pose looks a tiny bit uncomfortable but not bad.

Both portraits feature some really beautiful faces. You're definately on the right track.

I agree that there is a little green spill, which does not show up on print. The model was obviously to close to the background, however I think the extraction was not to bad. I saw that the background was too close to skin tone and have changed the background to grey and on the other images to blue.
The second model was done at Senior prom as a type of papparazi shot my personal nit is that I amputated the necklace. I normally have the model lights on proportional in the studio but before I shoot I change them to 100% to reduce the size of the pupils.
Thanks for taking time to comment and for the wonderful feedback.
