great work Scottie.......... I really like number 3 with the sun framed in the arch of the ruins.... 1st one is really nice too....... i can't help thinking that the second one looks a bit too blue tho
Cheers Alan, Funny you say that about the 2nd one as it's the one out of the three that has been affected the least by the sunset filter.

Nice shots Scottie,my favorite is the first because of the compostion and lighting.
Thanks Reigh Buddy That shot was one of my 1st of the morning
I agree Neil thanks mate, I just had to find a few pools down by the water to reflect the beautiful sky.

Clever clogs with number 3.
Scott you could get hammered by the purists re the 'rules' for number 2 but that is my favourite. The sky and the fg just suck you into the horizon through the darkness of those rocks.
Paul
Screw the purists mate
It might seem a little central but it works for me too buddy, a little lower would've meant the inclusion of my feet, a little higher would've meant too much sky IMO.

I love #3. Very smart to use the building and sun that way. Plus you had an interesting sky and you were able to expose the foreground enough to show detail. Good job!
Thanks Mate My creative juices were flowing a plenty that morning

lovely shots Scottie - Number 2 is a peach
you seem to have mastered those lee filters
Cheers Mate, I haven't mastered anything yet, I have my good days and my bad days just like everyone else.

Super nice series of photos Scottie.
Thanks Toney, your praise means a lot to me buddy

Great series!
#2 gets my vote for fav too, just love the colours you've captured, and it looks so still.

Thanks Scott, No:2 was taken at a pool left by the high tide, it was mirror smooth and easy to work with.

Beautiful shots Scottie. The second to me is the best of the bunch but I love how you have the light coming through on the third. Very well done.
One question, what is a "Sunset2"?
Thanks Robert mate, Sunset2 looks like a soft ND grad, instead of the neutral shading it is a Red tinting, used in moderation with skies like above I find it quite appealing.

As soon as I saw #2, I was sucked into it powerfully - that is now one of my all time favourites of yours, Scottie. Very well done!
I like #3 very much as well. Great sunburst!

Thanks loads Mike, Without blowing my own trumpet I was very happy with my work that morning, I've had plenty of good afternoons shooting but you can't beat working in lowlight like this, especially with a clear sky.
Cheers everyone
