I had to ask because I thought it would have been necessary for this type of scene.

I would probably have ruined it with a 2 or 3 stop! Blimey - I didn't even possess a 1 stop one until a month ago!

Lucky you!, waiting for a boat over there... and taking time to photograph the beauty of the morning. Nice capture, that some would have smirred with Lattes and a variety of Macciatos.
