Hey all, This is my first post after hanging out for about two weeks and reading everthing I could about lense. I just bought a 30d to replace my elan 7. I figured I would just use my old lense canon 28-105mm, but I hadn't figured in the 1.6 factor. Anyway I am now leaning to the Sigma AF 17-70. Just looking for input if everyone is happy or not who has this lens. Also are there other alternatives in this size range that I should be looking at.
Thanks
It seems as the Sigma works better on a DSLR than the 28-105 USM II, which is considered as a "decent" lens.
