Only if we can succesfuly sell enough tin foil hats to everyone to stop it happening.
But thats going to mean lots of work, we will need a very detailed and targeted marketing plan, with a well resurched advertising compaign.
I am starting another thread with detailed instructions for the do-it-yourselfer so that one can build your own aluminum foil hat thus gaining maximum protection with minimum cost and circumventing the evil-doers.
Seriously, today, nothing, but imagine if some yahoo in the future decided that folks who take pictures with long telephoto lenses are subversives capable of photographing military installations. So scouring the web looking for pictures taken with long lenses, identifying the camera used, crosschecking with warranty info and getting the name and address. Well, off you go because your a spy. Sounds far fetched? It's happened before. My grandfather was arrested and murdered because he owned a truck. At that time (WWII), the folks in power (Stalin's boyz) considered any truck a military vehicle. I am nervous anytime data is collected without the knowledge of those its being collected from.

Tin Foil hats? Contrary to popular belief, tin foil isn't very protective against alien rays. You have to use lead - which is quite heavy - or yellow kryptonite - which is much lighter but very expensive. Lead is fine for landscape shooter, but for action or sports shooters I'd definitely recommend the lighter yellow kryptonite. And don't let the double-vision scare you - it's just your eyes - your photos will be fine.
This is not true and it all depends in the alien. If they are the bad guys from Krypton then this course is the proper one to follow. But for them critters alergic to water, foil seemed to work well.
