I am just curious if anyone here sells their pictures on E-bay? If so do you have any suggestions or thoughts?
Thanks.

I go and look to see what used gear is going for these days and that is about it. I have only ever bought 1 thing off of there and it worked out pretty well. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Croasdail making stuff up More info | Nov 15, 2006 11:07 | #4 3/4 of my equipment I bought gently used. 1/2 of that I bought off of ebay. Never an issue yet. I have only sold a lens on ebay - no issues there either. Just must be really lucky I guess. Common sense goes a long way.

I did a search on photographs and there certainly is allot of them on there. Not understanding ebay all that much I have a question for those that are well tuned into this site. If you look at some of the gear on there you will see a "Place Bid" button. On the photographs you will see "Make an Offer" button and in most cases there isn't a time frame on the photographs. Just about all of them have a "Buy It Now". What's the difference. Are they using ebay as more of a store rather than an auction. I have always avoided ebay as I read all the potential for scams and associated things. Hence my lack of intelligence when it comes to this site. I don't know alot about ebay myself but users can set up a "store" to just sell items, without running an auction. Sevas Tra

I don't sell anything, but i've bought items from $50 up to $2000 and they all have went well. AVOID any users with negatives, unless it's like one small issue. I suggest reading feedback before purchasing an item from a seller, read the policy they have, the time they have been a member, check to see if they are verified, check the location of the item, if bids are public (private is a scam warning), ask for pictures of the items, and many more things.

Just does not sell for what it is worth. Do a search of completed items for photographs and seewhat kind of results you get and see what you think. MARQUIS
