I always said the 135 was a bit too long for me for portraiture, untill i borrowed a friends and my reaction was WOW i need this lense ive had it for about 4 months now and absolutely love it wouldnt get rid of it for anything.

Just buy it you know you want it

It's going to be long on a 1.6 cropped camera. Keep that in mind. Hard to top your 100 macro that you already have.

Yes :) The vendor charges my AMEX card as a purchase and then AMEX zeros out the charge and decrements my points total to cover the purchase. When I got my EF 100MM MACRO this way from J&R I had a bill from them marked paid in full :)

If you haven't got it by now, get one........it's an amazing lens, here's a shot taken at an exhibition I was covering shot on my 135 at F/2 at 1600 ISO
