How does it work with dark gyms and sports?

Well it's a little long in the gym (for both my 5D and 30D), but it's definitely fast enough...it works great in dark situations....

I have a 70-200 2.8 IS and wanted the 135 but didn't really need it since I had that focal length covered with a great lens. Well, I bought the 135 a couple of weeks ago along with a new 5D. All I can say is WOW, the 135 is truly amazing!

I look for opportunities to shoot with the 135 when ever possible now.

Get it, you will not regret it.

I see you've had a lot of success asking people to talk you out of the 135 L
Of course it may just be ever so slightly the wrong place to have asked the question...

But when you do get it I'm sure you'll enjoy it, it's a fantastic lens!

cheers
Bill
