wow! gosh!! what a great compliment!!

i "guess" your stuff is ok, too.

actually, your stuff is very good, and i don't mind saying so. you have a very creative eye!

white balance was set to flash, which might not have been right, but as i was just concerned with figuring out how to USE the flash, i blew off that detail. i plan to get an expo disc soon, though, for situations where the lighting is challenging, as this was. the lens is a sigma 70-200 f2.8, but the coloration you're seeing may have more to do with the slight bit of digital velvia i applied. dunno...

I just had to do a layer mask and bring the bike out on this one.
Sorry :o
I'll pull it down if you don't want it here.

heck, if i knew how to do a layer mask I would have done it! that looks great! those lighting conditions made it tough to keep from losing things in the blackness. get this...i had matt hoffman - "the condor" - in my lens, but because he tends to wear all black and ride a black bike....well, you get the idea. :(

i keep asking people how to turn on "image edit ok" but can't seem to get it done. i must be blind as a bat becuase i can't see for myself where to do it.

"User CP" at the top left of the page.
"Edit Profile" down the left.
Just below the "Instant Messaging" section is "Additional Information" containing "Image edit and repost permission".
Tick the "Yes" and go down to "Save Changes".

PS. I'll put up the bigger version of the pic then :)

finally! thanks, man. dunno why i couldn't see that, but maybe by the quality of my photos, it's obvious to everyone else that i can't see!

so, when you made that change, it looks like you darkened the background. is that right? anything else?

did you know the isde is this week over in your neck of the world?
