Ok I made a post earlier today about a session where the kids were soo fussy I could not get any good shots. If you have read that post, I have decided to offer a reshoot. I am getting ready to send an email to the mother that arranged the session and would like for you guys to read over the part where i mention the children being bad, and me offering the session and let me know if it sounds professional. Here it is. I say I need quick feed back because i want to send this email tonight

I have not yet started to work on getting the children gallery. I am not 100% satisfied with the images of the children. You have such a beautiful family and I want to be able to capture that. It just seemed like a difficult morning for the kids. I would like to offer another session at no charge if we can do it here in Nashville. I hope this can work for your family. My schdule is pretty tight for the rest of the month, but maybe we could do it on a weekday afternoon. I was thinking maybe at a park here, or out at the lodge. You guys could let the kids dress a little more down, bring some of their toys, just let them run around, play, have good time, and just be themselves. If we do it out at the lodge they can see all of the animals. We will have to ask Miranda if we could use it, but I don't think it would be a problem. That way I can get some of good candids of them playing, and maybe they will be in a better mood for the group shots. I am going to post a gallery of the images from Saturday within the next two days. Have a look at them and let me know if you are interested in the reshoot.

What do you guys think? Suggestions please.

Change this: "That way I can get some of good candids of them playing, and maybe they will be in a better mood for the group shots."

It sounds like your calling their kids crabby.

How should I word that? That is the part I am having trouble with.

I did the best I could with the first session but the kids where horrible. It was like kicking and screaming the whole time.

I would state that parents are asked to help you keep their childs mood pleasurable, ask them to help you keep the children happy and attentive. If a child fails to cooperate you will have to ask them to remove the child for the sake of the shoot, and then just shoot the kids who are cooperating.

How about this.. "That way I can get some of good candids of them playing, and maybe they will feel a little more relaxed in front of the camera for some group shots."

That sounds great.... No parent wants to hear anything negative about their kids....

Too late now, but generally kids are in a better mood after a nap?
