Hey, Ive got 2 black Rebel XTs.

What could I get for a BRAND NEW XT, only opened and 2 pics taken to make sure it works. Everything is unopened.(black)

and I have another black Rebel XT that is getting close to 5k pics, Very nice, works perfectly, no damage, mainly shot lots of pics at track, never in rain.
The used one id like to sell the body only unless someone wants the 18-55mm.

I want to get an XTi body and keep the 18-55mm and buy a 70-200 F/4 or maybe trade the used XT for one if that is possible..... Can someone give me serious prices on what they believe these are worth.

I also have an extra UNOPENED 50mm 1.8 that I will sell with one....

Does the 400D use the same batteries as the 350D? if not then I can throw in a new Sterlingtek one.

Check the Classifieds here and the Buy and Sell forum on FM to see what the going rate is. Then sell it all on Fleabay for more than that. :)

With the release of the XTi, XT prices have fallen sharply. I've seen people struggle to get $450 for an XT, even in perfect condition. The 50mm f/1.8 can be bought new for about $80, so $60-$70 is the going rate for them.

Realistically, I'd say $450 for the new one, $400 for the used one, and $65 for the nifty fifty. A new XTi will run you about $700-800, and the 70-200mm f/4 L can be had for around $500. I think you'll be digging into your wallet if you want the XTi and 70-200mm f/4 L. Sorry.

I want the 70-200mm f/4 but I think im going to look for a cheaper 3rd party one to go with until i can get a better job than taco bell....... I wanted to sell the new used XT with just the body and everything but keep the lens for my XTi... eh ill have to look around

How about the Sigma 70-300 APO DG? It's around 200 bucks and isn't too bad for consumer glass.

I had the Sigma 70-300mm. It's a great starter lens, but it's pretty soft at 300mm. Still, it's great to start with.
