Beautiful shots as usual Dimitri, i do like the first one for the texture of the rocks, but i like the second one more because of its out of ordinary composition- the void very nicely leads to the castle in that one. Thanks for posting :)

Love the second shot - but the castle feels a tad too dark in the image.
The gully leading to the castle is magic, interesting for the eye.

The second one for me too.

I tried to imagine hiking along this narrow ravine with my army, trying to attack the castle in this ruggedly beautiful terrain.

Small wonder those Scots were so tough!

dimitri I love your shots they look so vivid and stand out, I tried a shot like #1 at dunstanburgh castle and I got nothing like that :( may I just ask, if you were using a max 17mm why did you shoot at 19? Im sure there is a reason.

Fine photographs from a fine photographer ... :-)

Number two particularly appeals to me you set up the shot perfectly for a stereo. You are not going to disappoint me, Dimitri, and say you did not put your slidebar atop the tripod and take a cha-cha, are you?? A stereo of this would be superb! :)
