I've just recently started tackling PP from last years shoots (waiting until the rain forced me inside ;) )...This set is a day at the Oregon south coast....it was clear but the the ocean had gone wild....C&C welcome

the logs are huge...whole trees being tossed on what is normally just a sandy beach...

Well you posted the best one first.
My kind of shot.
I don't even mind the blown highlights .. shows the intensity of the light.

Did you take any with a slower shutter speed? I like the third but feel (IMO) it would have had something more with 'smokey' water

Wild day on the coast...get any surfin' in? I think the second shot is my favorite.

Thanks, pity about the highlights too...I knew they were blown...I was shooting straight into the sun, but it was so beautiful over there...I just had to capture it.

Sorry Stav...the wind was blowing wildly so there was no way to use a tripod...it was just fast shutter speeds that day..

...I wish! The continental shelf is so close over here that there are only a couple of places to safely surf...that and the water is absolutely freezing. I'll never forget my first trip to California...where people actually did more than walk in the water....
