Here's my family! We set up a tripod, then I ran into the frame after starting the 10 second count down :)

I'm the one on the right.

Thanks for your comments and please let me know what you would have done to improve the shot.

Hi neighbor!
Nice work. I couldn't make a single change.
Make a 16x20 and hang it.

6D, 60D, Various L and non-L Lenses and more gear than I have time to use. ;)

Looks good!
I'd like to see a bit more headroom above the young man's curly locks.

This is a great family portrait. I think that perhaps less PP would give it a more natural look. Well done.

great looking family, for porcelain dolls :)

a bit heavy on the retouching, ut for a timer shot thats not bad.

For future shots, I'd have your sister turn a bit, being square to the camera is not flattering to her figure. Your family looks great though

I like this portrait alot, I love that so much thought was put into the clothing.

My mom insists that everyone wear matching clothes for these things. I just came home and had a green sweater waiting for me.

Yes, I did add the background after the shot.

The lighting was a 580EX bounced off the super high ceiling. It was flashing at 100% and I still had to bump the ISO!

Do you have any recommendations on how to mask the hair? I find it extremely hard to do without looking bad.

I will squat more next time! The young man with locks is me and I had one heck of a time trying to get my head in the frame at all after running 5 yards and posing before the shutter went off. You should see where my head gets cut off on the other frames. :D

It's hard to tell how much 'retouching' to do. I appreciate the input. After staring at the same photo for so long I forget what the original looks like and can't tell if I'm overdoing it. Thanks.

Do you mean the person at the bottom of the frame? If so, that's actually my brother! He would make one ugly girl, but he gets it all the time so no worries. His hair is too long. ;)
