Since you painted the people, I'd like to see you also paint the clothing as well. I'd also like to see you make your brother darker to match everyone else. (whew, I'm glad someone else also thought that was a girl) Did you paint using Photoshop or Corel Painter ? It's way beyond retouching so I assume it was a painting technique.

I will squat more next time! The young man with locks is me and I had one heck of a time trying to get my head in the frame at all after running 5 yards and posing before the shutter went off. You should see where my head gets cut off on the other frames.

Well now you know how much work goes into these group shots and how hard it is to do them well. Don't let composition ruin an otherwise great shot. Back up or zoom out enough to give yourself a bit of cropping room. This will save your a$$ on many occasions.

At first glance I thought that your brother was your sister. Oops! Now I can see that he is your brother. My 4 year old girl and I were at Walmart and some guy there had REALLY long hair, like down to his rear end long hair. My daughter asked me if it was a boy or a girl and I said boy and she started arguing with me really loudly that it was a girl. I left that section very quickly.

Good photo for self done. Tell your parents you want some strobes for Christmas/Hanukah/Quanza whatever it is you celebrate.

I like the composition and the sweater idea, but for my taste you overdid the eyes and teeth - they look too white and sharp to be real.

Otherwise, a good inspiration! I'll have my whole family (12 people) around for christmas, I have to think of a way to take a good shot of all of us... :-)

With all due respect, I find the PP (eyes, teeth, skin so soft) makes it look more like a cartoon. It works for glamour, but for a family portrait?

Sorry,

Looks like a nice portrait that went to too much post processing. The skin is unreal smooth and the teeth look like the have been whitened. Both good things to do but just not as much!

Thanks. I average about 17-18 seconds on the cube. Check out a video here (external link) of me or check out my website (external link) for many videos of people solving various puzzles. Are you interested in the cube?
