Scottes, I missed you. I just didn't know people could start threads about it. I've been missing CustomBracket (Pio) in NYC for about 4 months now and even gave him a PM. He's not around anymore.

I actually chatted online with Pio a/k/a BottomBracket about two months ago. It seems he had a run-in with a moderator and decided to hang it up for a while. He's also got kid(s) now and is very into spending time with his family. I know that he went on one of the original NYC get-togethers with Chris a/k/a Calzinger who said Pio was a great guy to hang with. I miss him too.

Pio is the man and I miss him too ... he used to comment on my crappy urban shots all the time I 'spoke' to him a few months back too and same as Mr MDJak. I asked him what happened and he didn't say. He is a loss to this place. He was always very reasonable, encouraging and friendly to all, so whatever it was I guess it was serious from his point of view and a principle issue, not the usual forum BS. I respect that guy.

I respect Lord Malone too and his new honourific fits as tight as those chinese silk padded reversible coach potato nappy and bra sets he sells.

Sure ... you seen the boobs on some of those US guys? But even in the UK things are opening up market wise. Plenty of big guys here to sell to.

Anyway, the nappy is functional and enables TV watching for at 24 hours without moving, but the bra is more a health thing to prevent a bad back and neck ache. He's crackin' the glamour and medical markets all at once. I respect his drive and innovation.

I think the co-branding deal he negotiated with MacDonalds was brilliant. The silk is cross stitched with Ronald's face on the butt of the nappy (Ronald MacDonald I mean!) and a pair given out with each family bucket. I hope he's back soon - most excellent sense of humour, even if some of it went over my head. all those classical allusions between PetKal and Condyk are heavy going when you got most of your Latin from anatomy books and Asterix comics.....
