A bright-eyed two-toothed toddler I met at the church... he wasn't old enough to speak, but I think his eyes do speak a lot!

C&C welcome.

Cute fella... nice snap shot. You may want to remove the red eye.

Nice shot. I'd say the exposure/light is well controlled, making the child well lit, and the possibly distracting background darkened out.

Thank you all for your comments!

About the background...although darkened, I find the rim of the door a bit distracting. Any suggestions how to improve on that? Should I remove that altogether and put in a flat background instead?

Suggestions please.

he looks a bit flat to me.. but the red eye fix looks better.. I'd suggest a little bit of contrast and maybe desaturating (slightly) the red... after that apply a straightening to that doorway.. it's distracting because it's soo obviously crooked... cute snapshot by the way...

Hey sari,

I made a few changes based on ur valuable suggestions. Am still learning to desaturate the red selectively from a layer though. :p

The green on the border is an experiment...I landed on this one while trying out a lot many and this one caught my eye. A dark border isn't looking great coz the background in dark, and a red to balance out the red in the photo is too distracting. This, oddly, looked good to me.

Further C&C please.
