Have you ever wished you have never moved? Went to capture the sunset and cloud, mist and haze moved in for it too. Decided that I wasn't going to get anything so started walking back from the water's edge...almost back to the car park I turned to see this pastel after-glow, pleased I hadn't put the camera away:D

Lovely scene, David. I have often left too soon, thinking it was over when it had something left. Now I wait.

The soft pastel colours are beautiful, David.
You've captured them very well.
I love the softness of the background hills.
They blend into the sky with ease.

However ........... there's not often a "however" with your images.
You know what I'm going to say.
The foreground.
My eye is drawn to the wall rather than the real beauty behind it.

Or was that your intention.
To juxtapose the two.

that is a really great shot. I love the fog/mist covering the sun's light!

He still has one more move.

Thanks Stan, it always pays to turn around and look back the way you've just come too! ;)

To juxtapose the two.

Whilst not intentional it was unavoidable from my vantage point and cropping it out removes most of the reflected colour....it's another image caught between the devil and the deep blue sea!

Didn't know which to post first anyway but here you go....:p ;)

Beautiful crop.
A very difficult scene captured very nicely.
Great mood.
