I think I am still going to go with the 17-40mm, even though the 10-22 and 24-105 conbo sounds nice, I can just see me using the 17-40 a lot, even if it doesn't have very much reach.

In the future, for me, I can see myself buying a 70-200 f4 IS lens, as well as the 10-22 for some funky ultra wide stuff. But, again, the 17-40 would be my main lens I think.

I think I've got my head sorted now, with all these choices. Still want Canon to make a 17-70mm f2.8 IS L though! :)

Another thing...

I got my 17-40 from kerso for 430, plus i sent the £70 rebate voucher away so its worth getting it from Kerso! I havnt received anything back from Canon though, but i believe there is a 40(ish) day delay at the moment with canon rebates. As long as you purchase the lens before the end of the year then the rebate should be fine!

Actually, it wasnt 430, it was 425 :) and from scotland, brand spanking new! Kerso will not let you down: fact!
