Fisheyes give a 180 degree picture, which is something you can't get with standard rectilinear lenses. Chris | My Flickr

ghms421 Senior Member 471 posts Joined Jul 2006 Location: Bethesda,MD More info | Most wide lenses will distort at the wide end, when close to the subject. As for actual fisheyes, I know someone who uses the sigma on a N*kon D100 and gets great results, so I imagine the canon is even better.
