I find it amazing that so many people from other countries speak English. I just noticed that there are people here from all around the world.

It's the univeral language.... I'm currently at a conference in Spain where the only language communicated is English, regardless of the fact that there's attendees from 50 different countries here.

I never thought about that... But now that you mention it, wow!

I just came to realize all the different countries represented in here, and all speak english well. The only thing we dont pick up is the accents!!

Its nice to converse and learn things from so many people, from so many places!!

I beg to differ on that point. Maybe not accents, but there are some differences that come through the type. Pete had to direct me to a 'british dictionary' so that I could understand his festering gob. :p ;)

It's true, some colloquialisms come through. It took me a while to figure out what "knackered' and "wonky" meant. Of course, being raised in Texas, English is a 2nd lanuage to me anyway:lol:
