Wow....

I find it amazing that so many people from other countries speak English. I just noticed that there are people here from all around the world.

It's the univeral language.... I'm currently at a conference in Spain where the only language communicated is English, regardless of the fact that there's attendees from 50 different countries here.

yeah it's definately the language of business.

I just came to realize all the different countries represented in here, and all speak english well. The only thing we dont pick up is the accents!!

I beg to differ on that point. Maybe not accents, but there are some differences that come through the type. Pete had to direct me to a 'british dictionary' so that I could understand his festering gob.

It's true, some colloquialisms come through. It took me a while to figure out what "knackered' and "wonky" meant. Of course, being raised in Texas, English is a 2nd lanuage to me anyway
