Elk in Rocky Mountain National Park - Colorado

This was taken the end of August in Rocky Mountain National Park. It was raining so I took this from the car. I wish that I could have convinced the one with the large rack to turn around to get a view of his face, but he was a bit contrary so I made do with the some of the others looking my way.

Nice shot, Claudia. Ironically when I was there in September, it was raining. I didn't want to get my body and lens wet, so I snapped some from the car. Unfortunately, the Elk really didn't want to come near the car for a photo-op!

Of cours i don`t know your aperture settings,but it seems to me that you have missfocused.
The trees in the mg,look sharper than the animals.
I like the way you compossed it though.
