Testing out a borrowed lens

Just wanted some feedback on these test shots i took in the availiable light of my dorm. WB is a bit off, but other than that, share your comments onthese pics

Well whatever it is...it looks really fast.

85mm F1.2 *mouth waters*. whoed you borrow that from, or rather what would happen if you just didnt give it back haha. nice shots, like the 4th best overall.

guy in #4 is very photogenic, i don't think a single one of his looks bad...

borrowed the 85L from a friend and fellow newspaper photographer to use in an event this friday. since the lighting was going to be horrible, i thought that 85L and 35L would be perfect to borrow for when the light got too low for my 70-200.

85L is amazing though, at f1.2 normal room lighting will give me between 1/125 and 1/400 at ISO 800 while overexposing 2/3rd or more stop.

any tips on wielding the beast from anyone who has it?

nice job...maybe just a tad more depth of field in 3. maybe not...

The shots are a big grainy because of the ISO 1600, but not a bad job for 1/125 handheld...

the monster is actually suprisingly stable, even considering my arms where dead from carrying 18kg worth of food and bottled water for a mile

what you see isn't grain, it's jpg compression/resizing. all shot raw and overexposed when shot, iso noise is at the level of a bad iso 400-fairly good iso 800 on xt rather than 1600 noise most people are used to seeing
