got my replacement 20D today (long story  ) anyhoo, here's one of the first pics I took with it.

80-200mm lens
f/4.5
ISO 100
1/100 sec

C&C encouraged and appreciated. I really feel in control with my newfound love of 'M' mode. ;)

Very cute...The red taillight is a little distracting...might be able to do something in PS...Well, i mean you might be able to...THere is no way I could, for I suck at PS, but i digress...

I love the expression and the use of thirds...Very nice picture...thanks for sharing.

Nice shot of a cute boy!

Sorry to OT but.....I am just wondering what B&H did for you? Did they give you a NEW 20D in replacement of the refurbished one you had problems with, or did they give you another refurb?

Just curious, as I was following your earlier posts/problems.

Travis

Cute image! I do not care too much for the background. Some foliage would have been nice. Is that a State Trooper car?

Haha. Okay, yes, B&H took very good care of me. Sent me a replacement for the defective 20D they had sent me, and yes, the one they sent me is also a refurbished, and seems to be in immaculate condition. I am pleased.

Ryan - as far as the background goes, well, sorry! It's just a simple snapshot that was taken in the driveway as I conducted my own tests on the sent camera. I wasn't going for anything spectacular, but for a snapshot, I was pleased. Daddy's patrol car in the background is something Cooper will have to get used to in his life. ;)

Well, congrats! I am glad B&H resolved your problems. I know I would have been pretty upset if I were in your shoes.

PS - I like the patrol car in the background, especially since it has that special meaning in your family. Now if it was just a car.... well that would be different;) .

Good luck with your new camera!

Travis
