She loves it and handles it well, even though she is only 42. A 40D, a 30D, some nice glass and a great Shooting Partner.

I'm rather young myself, but I found photography on my own, not because somebody told me to go take great photos or something. There was a similar thread here recently that included a link to a Fisher-Price camera for kids. Low res - but high durability, apparently. Might want to do a search for that and see. -David
