Another from my home town, comparing today with 50+ years ago.

I'm pleased that there is at least one shop in the same family as then(HJ Waye in the right FG), the large buildings on the FG left have been demolished.

Very well done again Les

This kind of work just stirs up thoughts and ideas of similar work in my town Falkirk as 99% of the inner town area still has the same buildings.

It's interesting to see how the tall and short chimneys are still there above the shop, and also that the bigger chimney stack to the top right has also been reduced just like some of them in your first thread.

Very good observations John.
I`dd like to add that, although his distance while taking the shot seems the same as the original....i couldn`t help noticing the angle of that building on the left.
Here are two screen captures (with my new software,:p)...

Cool! I wanna do it too now! Is there a time of day that you can go get shots when the entire left frame isn't overshadowed?

Very nice one again. I don't think you used the same focal lenght as the original photographer though... the buildings in the background appear larger in the original pic.

Nevertheless I think the viewer gets the point anyway.

Judging from the auto in the foreground, it could be a LOT more than 50 years ago. (More like 80+)
Very well executed.

Yes, I noticed that, as you say, it's unlikely to be a TV aerial ???
