I took some shots of my 7 yo throwing leaves this afternoon and I think that these two shots are really cute, but they both seemed dark, so I tried adjusting the second one in photoshop and my husband tried adjusting the first one. Any advice or thoughts? I don't know how to turn on the edit photos on my profile.

The first one doesn't seem dark as much as out of fcous on her... I think the first one would benefit from a little sharpening and you'd see a diffrence. :)

should post these with the largest dimension being 800 pixels. very hard to critique this size.

The picture is a little smaller than most post but I gave it a go on the first one and hope you like the changes...

Thanks everyone and I'm sorry about the small pics, I didn't mean to make them that small!

Nice pics but I think there maybe a white balance issue here. Skin tone looks all wrong and could do with warming up a bit especially the first one and the fence behind looks blue in colour.

Nothing that can't be fixed in PS though.

I love this forum! I learned something new here and I could wait to try it on this picture. I think it helps, any comment about edit welcome as I am new to PSing and eager to learn anything I can.
