so, y'all it has now been snowing for about sixteen hours.. at some point last night it started and so far hasn't stopped.. but, as soon as it does the Tammy wants to go take lake shots... Okay, so I'm thrilled because it's not enough to need snowboots (yet) and it makes everything look soo clean and now all the shots that were boring old trees are now trees with lots of snow around them.... definately better for compositions.. so, I will bring out the wool coat, snowboots, gloves, hats and all that stuff and head out to take pictures... the ski resorts should be opening up any time.. more money for me. :D :D :D ... but I am now pretty close to being stuck up here.. my poor car just isn't meant for the snowy, icy roads.... and I have grown since last year when I was regularly getting myself stuck in some random muddy, icy road for the sake of a photo.....

now, I can just borrow a whitetail rig when i want to go to the mountains.. as long as I share any good shots I got permission...  ..

Can't wait to see the pictures, Sari! (But I can't say that I would share your excitement about the snow! I'm definately not looking forward to that!)

Have fun and post lots!

God I love snow. I love to snowshoe into the woods and I can get close to animals you would never imagine any other time of the year. Have fun.

Love snow, as long as it is where you are. :) Actually, I'd like a good storm about 3 times over the winter. That makes just enough to have fun and let it melt. That's what happens here in VA. In NY, it's pretty for about a day, then it turns, well, all colors.

I have no smog or pollution.. but, you should be here during fire season.. sent me straight to the doctor.. But, normally it is very beautiful here.. even when it's ugly..

Well we are under a winter storm watch, so we may get some snow tonight. IT would be great. Of course it takes a while to accumulate enough snow to use the snowshoes, but once we do it is great fun.

Well as of right now we have 5 inches and it is still snowing. It is that lovely fluffy stuff that just kind of drifts down. I am pumped.

Snow, what's snow....?

Weather people predict it round Xmas time but we never see it...what colour is it? ;)

I'd love it to snow but it the slightest mention in the UK and the whole country grinds to a halt...bloody ridiculous.

Please tell me you're not actually in Iowa at the moment. That's too close for my comfort!

I'm not really ready for snow... They said there is a chance tonight though.

I'm still shooting football for pete's sake! :~( *cry* :~(

Thanks for looking!

Yes, I am in Iowa. In fact we got to school and it is so bad they are not allowing anyone to leave. Glad I have a cot in the store room.
