I did a couple of baby photos on the weekend. A first for me! The first two are of my neice Camyelle and the last two are of my good friends new son Weston. C&C is welcome!

I think that these would look great in black and white- the shots are precious!

Awesome job!!! how do you get results like that?? i'm talking about the BLK BKG... i understand moving forward from the BKG will result in keeping the lights from reflecting off of them, but then when you have the subject directly on top of the black... how to you keep it from getting bright from the lights? Make sense?

I have a long piece of black fabric the top is draped over another background and the bottom is draped over a table. I bounced one 430ex off the celing (for last two pictures) and the for the first two pictures I bounced the flash off a piece of white frabic to the left. The babies are about 3 ft. from the background.

Both the moms love all the ones that I did. Thanks for all the great comments!

awesome!!! I am still working with my pop-up... but will be getting the Sigma super DG 500 sometime between now and Christmas!

I love and adore the 3rd image ... in the basket. It would be absolutely perfect if on a pastel background with tones like in the basket.
