Possum Kingdom Lake

Just a scant 100 miles west of Dallas (70 miles west of FW) lies this beautiful lake and the Cliffs Resort.
Who says the DFW area lacks natural beauty? People who don't get out and explore, that's who.

A couple were taken with my EF 55-200.
For most I used the kit lens, my only wide-angle option.

And I was standing on a cliff at the resort for the lake pictures and on a winding road for the picture of the ranch.

#5 does it for me. I would have never thought of Texas when I look at these pictures.
