This is one of the ones captured yesterday.

Thought I would share it with everyone.

Not perfect - but the look was interesting to me!

This is a baby garden lizard my son caught a couple of months back. It's sitting in the palm of my 8 year olds hand.

Hey Reptile Bob - what did you ingest before you painted the first lizard?
Did you handle some wild mushrooms or ....

It looks like some hippie from Timothy O'Leary's crash pad got artistic

All joking aside - is that the natural color? ...or is it a hybrid?

Hey everyone - AWESOME shots!

Hey everyone - AWESOME shots!

That first one is a panther chameleon. They change colors depending on their mood and environment and some are more attractive then others. The color also depends on what part of Madigascar they're found. This one is a particularly nice specimen from the area of Ambanja.

Glad you liked!

Hi Bob.... I live in Nassau, Bahamas.... I love these little guys....Around here they are very trusting.... No word of a lie I have to be careful where I step in the bush out back for fear of squashing them..... We have a lot of Herons, here too and so I think they are more concerned about the birds that want to eat them... I find they hang around me probably because they know I will keep the birds away from them... Quite often I have them scurrying around the inside of the house which is fine by me because they pay me back for the protection outside by helping keep the bug count down on the inside:). I got some shots of a baby the other day. When I see these little guys and their antics I can't help but grin..... Thanks for the ID.... If you have a market for them lets talk....Kidding of course:) I could probably collect 500 a day and never run out of them here.....Take care Bob.... Thanks for the nice feedback on these.... Your shots are out of this world so it is especially nice to get your approval on these.....Alex

Not the greatest picture, but it kind of shows how big he is. 52 inches of the laziest lizard ever.
