Interesting subject.

One set of possibilities for this image would be to crop in on the set of 4 next to the building, making sure to get a good amount of the hedgerow in the foreground. Straighten up the horizon line. Sharpen. And possibly a judicious bit of saturation might pop the colors a bit.

Hi guys...Paul..yse I've cracked the size problem! No clouds....I guess you can't have everything...

Anthony I've just uploaded for printing and I have cropped in a bit, its a very hilly place difficult to straighten up but you right!

Yea i can see what you mean they would be quite soothing... but i think i can safely say the majority of the Scottish population would rather they remined south of the border... lol no matter how 'silent' they are. :D nice shot though mabye you could see it to the Scottish parlement for the advertising campaign to get more wind turbines up here... lol but seriously that's a good photo i really like it- a nice time of day with the lighting.

I cant see the problem with them, Would rather them on my doorstep than a nuclear plant, but then they are always good for someone else's doorstep eh?

Getting back to the post, I like the pic, clouds would have enchanced it more, I have been meaning to get up to BL myself to take some shots, but am not the outdoor type. I prefer to do portraits in the home / studio lol.

You are going to have to get some patterson / interfit studio clouds for next time he he,
Unfortunately I am in the eastern district of Northants, maybe thats why I'm not the outdoor type lol.

Seriously my main interest is in portratiture, and I'm bit of a wimp where getting my camera's wet / cold / dusty is concerned. I understand you upgraded to one of the 1D models, a liitle more weather proof I understand. I would dearly love a 5D for my portraiture, but I have spent enough this year already. With intentions of moving house in the not too distant future, I cant see me obtaining a 5D yet, by the time I do it will probably be a 6½D by then.
