Hi Lester
What a beautiful series.
I was going to vote for your number one but number two is the winner with one little proviso .. take out the duck .. it interfers, I think, with that lovely curved flow into the shot.
Paul
Thanks Paul, I got Scotty to beam the duck up, hopefully the ripples left look like a fish breaking the surface.

Ill second that. Cracking shot, though the rest are quite nice too.

Thanks Adrian.

Beautiful....can I ask where they were taken?
Thanks Dawn.
They were taken at the National Trust property Stourhead. My wife and I were up there Monday expecting it to be quite as its out of season, but it was full of people with a very high proportion of photographers.
Chatting to one of the other visitors it turned out one of the national papers had run an article about autumn colour and mentioned Stourhead.
At least I did not feel out of place with my big camera bag and tripod for once.

I'll third that too, although the lead-in in #2 is also very nice.
Much appreciated John.

Nice series Lester _ I too like how the autumn colored tree stands out in the first one.
Thankyou Bluedog.
Thanks Carol.

The fog or mist gives them a nice calming effect. Nice shots, well done.
Thankyou Greg, I was very lucky with the combination of mist and sun.

All beautiful, but that first one is stunning!

Gorgeous all, but the mist in No.1 is intriquing - I keep trying to look into it. Very effective.
The duck may be a bit tough to remove from No.2 - it's created concentric circular ripples.
Thanks Glen. I have this other composion of #1 with the other bank visible - I think this looses some of the mistry of the fog.
