It was a mercy killing
I've ordered a Canon Ixus 60 to replace it - it's the camera I use at work for work stuff in the workplace of stuff not working.
Erm.

If not, how about giving the camera to one of your kids. Also, Kodak cameras open pretty easily. My niece's camera had a piece of plastic rattling around that occasionally would get something stuck. I opened the camera and shook it out. It is still working after nearly 2 years. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

As it's 5 years old I'll not bother. As it's 5 years old I'll not bother. I don't have kids so they can't have it - and it belongs to the company I work for. So I reckon I'll just brutally sacrifice it, now that it's FUBAR. ![]() In that case, I believe a discretion might be in order. Or maybe a quick game of log pass football with a fumble-fingered receiver, or maybe a stress test. How big a car can drive over it without squashing it to atoms. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
