I have a home-built PC for my normal functions, and I do network backup to a 6-year-old Dell that runs Linux. Full specs in my gear list below.

Anything from a Toshiba Libretto U-100 1 GHz PM/ 1 GB (field companion) to a Portege M205 1.5 GHz PM/2 GB Tablet PC where i do my detail photoedits, to a homebuild (older0 p4 2.6 GHz/2GB with around a terabyte of storage. All of them are really too slow for 5D photoedits. I'm debating upgrading the Portege or getting a Cintiq and upgrading the desktop box.
