Hi, just got my first lens, the canon 50 1.4. Here's a pic of my daughter I took last night. What do you think? It looks a bit blurry to me, I thought this lens would get sharper pics. What can I do differently, what can I change? C&C welcome please.

she is OOF... I would suggest putting a bit more distance between you and your subject and using about f4.0 and shooting RAW to correct white balances.. there are some free downloads for processing that are very handy... welcome to POTN and what a great model you have..

really cute picture, hope you dont mind I tweaked it a little, you havent set image editing ok so if your not happy about my playing with the picture I will remove it.
