If you don't like it after 2-3 weeks usage, I'm contributing $100 to your sell.

Cheers.

LOL! Very tempting. Very tempting. You have to ask yourself, why he is looking to sell for a 24-105 and 70-200.... Self, Why is he looking....?

Hey I know, you buy me the lens and If I dont like it I will sell it for you. If I do like It I will pay you the price plus $100. No that is a deal for both of us!!!

Stay away Dante, it's not going to be up to the quality you expect, or me for that matter and you know how low my standards are. ;)

A little heavier than a 100-400L. 3.7 lbs. Ap range is 3.5-40

That thing is a monster! Held one once in on hand and a 70-200 IS in the other and its like twice the weight. Probably nothing wrong with the lens at all but you have to be as strong as me or Arnold Schwatzenegger to use it I think. And although I could probably hold it, my neck can't. Originally I wanted one as a "only lens I will ever need lens" but I don't think so anymore. Although maybe one day I will try it out. If I can master it, as some have done, its probably a gem of a lens.

Perhaps he's going to a vacation place with his kids and decided to buy two bodies with f/4 lenses :D

I'm happy doing so, but I wouldn't want to take your $100 - that's how confident I am. You have not much to loose: if you don't like it, you can sell it for $1600 everyday, if you do - one lens (slightly heavy) getting a phenomenal quality. I'm risking $100, but it's such a low risk that my confidence is around 97.3% that you'll love it.

Lastly, with all due respect to the majority of folks who pass judgement and comments on this lens - most of them never seen one, never touched one... I can argue about Mongolia all day, but until I step my foot in Ulan Bator... of course, you can listen to my opinion, even pretend to care, but really it's dilettant and speculative :D
