Here is my official duck (goose) picture with my new 5D and 24-70mm f/2.8L USM. I took the kids with me and they tossed bread in the water. It was a feeding frenzy so none of the ducks would take time to pose for me. Then along came some geese so I caught this one as he came in for a low power landing.

Av 4.0 * Tv 1/2500 * ISO 200 * 70.0mm * Daylight WB * Al Focus * Spot metering * cropped

I’m guessing the spot meter measured the gray of the goose’s breast for exposure and so it’s a bit under exposed.

Oh that's were my lazy birds went! No wonder I can't do any duck pictures right now, they all flew to your end. Man with all the ice on the roads I wish I could have flown with them Canadian Geese.

Nice shot.
