gaffer tape, cable ties and WD40

doesnt move and it should - use the WD40
if it moves and it shouldnt, use cable ties and tape

if you cant fix stuff with tape and cable ties you arent trying hard enough

Forget the tape. You needed mucilage, a drop of cyanoacrylate = Crazy Glue, especially on the shutter.

How many parts were left over? Did you customize the ISO?

Put it on ebay. It'll probably fetch more than the original retail. :)
