Nov 10, 2006 21:55 | #3 Its a LOT early for that, Dimitri! Unfortunately, they only open the castle to the public a couple of weekends a year in the fall, and I happened to see the sign for it this weekend. I've gone up and shot the outside of the castle several times, but I'd never had the opportunity to go inside. It's a beautiful building, but there was WAY too much Christmas stuff in it to be able to really appreciate the building itself. Becca

Very nice colours and saturation in #1 too. Thats what usually happens to me!!! very well done the whole picture looks so pleasing on the eye, a wonderful capture, I like the xmas decorations Im a sucker for xmas Canon 30D/Sigma 17-70/Canon 50mm 1.4 USM/Elinchrom D-Lite 2 kit

Love that little lens! bachscuttler wrote in post #2246746 The first shot of the courtyard is very well exposed Becca I would have expected the top of the arch to be in shadow and the sky blown on a shot like this...you controlled it well! Very nice colours and saturation in #1 too. I have to admit to a bit of PP as the arch was a little dark. It was a challenging shot! flyfisher wrote in post #2247018 Nice shots Becca the second one is my fovorite. Thanks, Steve! That was my favorite too! Becca

Nov 11, 2006 13:46 | #14 Thanks JT and Maureen! lomond wrote in post #2248453 Not to put too fine a point on it but it looks like rigor has set in on Santa. I know it can get a bit parky (chilly) up there in Lapland. ![]() I agree... and I had to laugh when I read your comment. This was a Santa figurine, not a real man! So I guess that could explain the somewhat "plastic" appearance! Becca
