Hope you like it! Please let me know either way...
Thanks for looking!

The pain sky does nothing for me though. You could layer in some clouds or shoot early or late in the day to get dramatic light on the tower and take my focus away from the plain blue sky. Your making me tired just thinking about a climb like that. Join us in Chicago on April 22nd (Click here for more details)

A couple of years ago, I went up to "Old Barney" when the sun came out after a storm, around dusk and got some dramatic clouds as a background. Definitely makes for a more interesting shot. Do you live on LBI? I have a summer place down there, but it'll be getting a bit cold for those beach walks before long. No, I don't live in LBI(live in monmouth county)....I was down there with my wife for the day because the weather was so nice. We stopped at Mario's and brought lunch to the lighthouse.... Why not show a picture from that day? Mike Attanasio

Didn't want to hijack the thread, as you posted a really nice shot. Now that you asked, I went back to my files and the sky is not as dramatic as I remembered, but there's some idea as to improve the sky on yours. Rich B

Nice shots, I didn't realize that they still light the house. Love the sky in the first shot.... Mike Attanasio

Love the sky in the first shot.... Thanks for the comments. Acutally, they don't light it anymore for ships. I even believe the lens has been removed. There's just a bulb up there to make it look as if its lit at night. Rich B
