I love my new Xti and my new Sigma 17-70 lens. No problems with exposure on the camera and no problems with back focus on the lens after testing it myself.

I see enough posts about exposure problems on the XTi and back focus issues on 3rd party lenses. Am I the only one who got a good copy of both camera and lens?

Complaints can be helpful for potential buyers and also misleading. I'm just curious to see the poll results.

6D, 60D, Various L and non-L Lenses and more gear than I have time to use. ;)

I am also happy with my new 400D (uk) I also have the Sigma 17-70 F2.8 and the two go together very well.
Coming from a Pro1 has been a steepish learning curve. The Pro1 easily took care of most of exposure and focusing situations in good light, whereas, the 400D isn't so forgiving and I have to work a little harder to get a good result. But on the whole - very satisfied indeed. DA.

Mine is perfectly reliable but i'm not satisfied!;)
They coulda improved the low light performance at 8Mp instead of bumping it up to 10Mp
They could have built antishake into the body
They d@mn well should have made a better grip !(pentax have a tiny camera with a nice grip)
Yeah ,this has nothing to do with this thread but i had to say it somewhere ,sometime :)

Very pleased with my 400D which is giving better results than a friend's 20D which I sometimes use. :D

97% Satisfied customers?
That's what I was hoping for...:)

I have seen enough "exposure problems" posts that it made me question the camera. I've read that Canon changed something on the XTi to create possible exposure problems. Either my camera doesn't do it or I've figured out how to expose properly. All in all I love my XTi!

Why on earth would Canon change something to create exposure problems??

Though I've not exactly got extensive experience with other DSLR's to judge from, I've not encountered any glaring problems whatsoever and am really very satisfied with the kit.

He probably meant "that" rather than "to".
